[Tip] Disable Or Remove Facebook Timeline

Facebook Timeline was recently announced by Zuckerberg in the latest F8 keynote as being one of the most exciting and amazing new features of Facebook. This new feature gives you a whole new profile page to work with, with a timeline on the right hand side and a huge screenshot of you on top. You can even add photos to an older date of your timeline and make people see what you’d been up to during that time. It’s pretty slick but still in developer stages, everyone can still use it though with the use of OpenGraph app on Facebook.

You might have read our post on how to enable Facebook’s new Timeline profile but realised that none of your friends cant see this profile so you are thinking to bringing back your old Facebook Profile page. Some people may not like this new profile page and willing to bring back old Facebook Profile page. To be able to disable this monstrosity of a page seemed too good to be true. Why do I not want it? The page is graphically offensive, hard to navigate but more fundamentally it is forcibly “fixing” what is not broken. Why does FaceBook insist on these fixes and changes that make keeping up with privacy hard to impossible and are not what people want. The last change to the newsfeed has basically cut me off from most of my friends. I HATE the last few rounds of changes. This one may well be the last straw for me.
